About Nik Howe

Nik Howe & Co is made up of Nik Howe, long-time collaborator Peter Bourne and Nicole Moerig. We are an independent collaborative creative studio based between Australia, the UK and Europe.
We bring brands to life, make them look beautiful and sound good, creating powerful visual and written stories that command attention and build community.
We collaborate with writers, photographers, filmmakers and developers and specialise in brand identity, brand communication and content and creative direction across multiple platforms.
Nik Howe is to the creative and comms world what the Swiss Army Knife is to camping with over 20 years’ of professional experience. His love of 90s pop manifesto The Face paved his way into consumer publications where his unparalleled flair for both words, pictures and design ensured a meteoric rise to the helm of the some of world’s leading magazines (GQ Active, Maxim and Evo).
Since largely shipwrecking himself in Australia in 2007, he has been part of the executive team that birthed Time Out in Sydney and launched the men’s lifestyle magazine Sport&Style for Fairfax.
He has since worked with brands such as Asics, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, MTV, Hamilton Island, Herman Miller and Black Sheep Cycling and pioneered digital start-up WHTVR. He now specialises in brand communication and storytelling for the digital age.

He was also the impetus for Damir Dokic (father of Australian tennis star Jelena) threatening to blow up the Australian embassy. Fact.
